Obituary for Bartholomew A. Larzelere
Bartholomew August "Bart" Larzelere, 26, of Santa Fe, New Mexico, formerly of Perkasie, and Fountainville, died March 1,2003 in his residence. Born in Albuquerque, NM, he was the son of The Rev. Benjamin, III and Beverly (Steeley) Larzelere, Santa Fe, NM.
He was a graduate of New Mexico Military Institute, Roswell, NM and had attended the Santa Fe Community College, Santa Fe, NM and the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, NM. He had also spent many summers living with his grandparents in Perkasie and Fountainville.
He had been employed in food service with The Old House Restaurant, Santa Fe, NM and previously in Hawaii. He had also worked in EMT service with the Espanola Hospital, Espanola, NM.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his paternal Grandmother, Mary Elizabeth (Grabert) Larzelere, Boca Raton, FL (formerly of Fountainville, PA) and his maternal grandfather, Jacob A. Steeley, Sellersville; several uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Eva Kraus (Yerk) Steeley and his paternal grandfather, Benjamin Larzelere, Jr.
His Funeral Service was held Sunday afternoon, March 9 at 3:00 PM in Christ Lutheran Church, 1701 Arroyo Chamiso, Santa Fe, NM 87505-4775.
A Memorial Service will be held in Pennsylvania at a future date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: The Bart Larzelere Memorial Fund of Christ Lutheran Church, at the above address.
