Claire Mae Wells, 86, of Perkasie, formerly of St, Petersburg, FL, died on June 22 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Bruce M. Wells, who died in 1966.
Born in Florence, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late John Parker and Mabel (Hipp) White.
A homemaker most of her life, she had been employed as a certified respiratory therapist at Grand View Hospital, West Rockhill Township, for 15 years before retiring in 1983. Ruth's beloved family was the joy of her life.
Claire had been a lifelong member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Souderton.
She is survived by her daughter, Lacy G. Rynders, and her husband, Timothy W., Milwaukee, WI; a brother, Clyde P. White, and his wife, Frances, Birmingham, AL; a sister, Doris Moore, Pinellas Park, FL; three granddaughters: Dana R. Shook and her husband, Bryan, Patterson, NY; Jennifer E. Altenbach, Milwaukee, WI; and Amber M. Owen and her husband, Jason, Tamarac, FL; three great-grandchildren: Robert, Justin and Jazmin; and a daughter-in-law, Sharon L.. Dunagan, Coconut Creek, FL.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sons: Charles H. Dunagan and Robert P. Dunagan.
A Memorial Service was held Saturday afternoon, June 24, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Souderton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1037 Spur Road, Souderton, PA 18964.
