Gustav C. "Gus” Trulll, of Sellersville, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday morning, August 23, at his residence. He was the beloved husband of the late Ruth M. (Rawlinson) Trull who passed away May 18, 1998. He was 81.
Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Carl and Vera Trull. He moved to Sellersville in 1956 and had lived there ever since.
Mr. Trull was employed for 30 years as a carpenter with the Carpenter's Union, Local 1856, Philadelphia. He retired in 1981. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed woodcarving.
He attended Bethel Baptist Church, Sellersville. He was a member of the Paletown Rod and Gun Club, Quakertown and the Delaware Valley Woodcarver's Association.
Mr. Trull is survived by two (2) sons: Karl F. Trull, Tioga Township, Tioga County and Eric G. Trull and his wife, Deborah A., Perkasie; one (1) brother, Robert Trull and his wife, Fran, San Pablo, California; eight (8) grandchildren: Dawn, Tina, Matthew, Andrea, Shawn, Drake, Jamie and Shannon; and nine (9) great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Drake E. Trull, who passed away in 1971.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Monday, August 28 at 11:00 AM in Bethel Baptist Church, 754 East Rockhill Road, Sellersville.
Interment in Sunset Memorial Park, Somerton, (Philadelphia.).
Friends may call Monday from 10:00 AM until time of service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Music Department of Upper Bucks Christian School, 754 East Rockhill Road, Sellersville, PA 18960.
