Edward L. "Jack" Thomas, Jr., 69, of Bedminster Township, died at his home on Wednesday evening, April 26. He was the husband of Barbara (Kiefer) Thomas. They celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary last November.
Born in Horsham, PA, he was a son of the late Edward L., Sr. and Anna Marie (Carver) Thomas.
Mr. Thomas grew up in the Willow Grove area and moved to Bedminster in 1965 where he has lived ever since. He owned and operated his own business in Perkasie, Roslyn Uniform Rental, from 1959 until 1996.
He was a US Army veteran having served with the First Infantry Division.
He was a Protestant.
Mr. Thomas was a member of the Agricultural Secure Committee for Bedminster Township.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Thomas is survived by one (1) son: Raymond E. Thomas, and his wife, Bonnie, Houston, Texas; one (1) daughter: Dawn Miller, Thonotosassa, Florida; four (4) grandchildren: Crystal Hessler, Benjamin Hessler, Jacquelyn Thomas and Nichole Miller; Four (4) brothers and one (1) sister.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Interment in Kellers Church Cemetery, Bedminster Township.
