Dorothy M. Taylor of Quaker town passed away Thursday, August 26, 2004, in Quakertown Center, Genesis ElderCare, Quakertown. She was 89.
She was the wife of the late James Preston Taylor.
Born in Shelly, she was a daughter of the late William and Sadie (Weil) Randall.
Mrs. Taylor was a homemaker for most of her life. She had been a member of the Women of the Moose Chapter 471, Sellersville and the North Penn Gun Club and the Betterment Club both in Trumbauersville..
An avid bingo player, Dot loved life, butterflies, baking, cooking, and cleaning. Most of all, she enjoyed being with her beloved family.
She is Survived by three. daughters, Shirley J. Nasa and her husband, Sonny, of Sellersville; Dorothy Arnold of Slatington, and Edith Wydra and her husband, Daniel, of Logansport, Ind.; one son, John H. Geiger Jr: and his fiance, Kathy Glover; of Perkasie; two brothers, William Randall of Heller town and Robert Randall of Blue River, Ore.; two sisters, Ruth Schwering and her husband, Elmer, of Hanover, Pa., and Edith Orkin of Philadelphia; 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and two great great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Four sisters and two brothers preceded her in death: Martha Gaskill, Alice Healy, Trudy Link, Sadie Moyer, and Steven and Lloyd Randall.
Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, August 30, in Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 N. Main St, Sellersville, where family and friends may call from 10 a.m.. until the time of the service.
Interment will be in Richlandtown Union Cemetery.
