Linda L. (Edwards) Stapleton

Linda L. Stapleton, 65, of Sellersville, formerly of East Rockhill Township, entered into rest early Saturday morning, December 6, at Grand View Hospital, West Rockhill Township. She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph V. Stapleton, who died in 1995.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Graf M. and Yvonne (Casson) Edwards.

Linda had most recently been employed as the manager of Old Towne Tavern, Perkasie.

She was a member of the Auxiliary of the American Legion Nase-Kraft Post 255, Sellersville. She also was a member of the Perkasie Owl’s and the North Penn Gun Club, Trumbauersville.

Linda is survived by her two daughters: Tammy L. Renner and her husband, Troy, of Quakertown and Angela C. Knight and her husband, Daniel, of Westfield, Indiana; one sister, Dawn M. Koehler and her husband,Timothy, of Souderton; four grandchildren: Alexis, Kristen, Braedon and Julian. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Joseph Cifone, III and Vincent Cifone.

Her funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 10 at 11:00 AM in the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville. Family and friends may call Tuesday evening, December 9 from 7:00 - 8:30 PM and Wednesday morning from 10:00 until time of service, all at the funeral home. Interment will be in Deep Run West Mennonite Cemetery, Bedminster.
