Roselyn M. Duffy

Roselyn M. Duffy, of Quakertown, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 6, 2026, in Neshaminy Manor Nursing Home, Warrington, PA. She was 96.

She was the wife of the late Donald Joseph Duffy for 45 years until his death in 1998.

Born in Bethlehem, PA, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Julia (Chicchi) Matteo. Roselyn graduated from Liberty High School in Bethlehem, PA in 1948 and then attended the Bethlehem School of Business.

She worked for many years as a dental assistant, a profession that suited her careful nature and attention to detail. She took pride in her work and was known for her reliability and dedication.

A woman of faith, Roselyn was a longtime member of Saint Stanislaus and Corpus Christi Roman Catholic churches in Lansdale. In later years, she was a member of St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, Sellersville.

She loved to walk, garden, and follow sports, especially football, gymnastics, and figure skating.

Family and home were always at the center of Roselyn’s life. A devoted wife and mother of two daughters, she enjoyed her three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

Mrs. Duffy is survived by her daughters: Colleen Palermo and her husband Charles and Donna Duffy Grimm and her husband, Vince, all of Perkasie. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Jennifer (Palermo) Weber and her husband, Matt, Zachary Bell and his wife, Maria, and Angela (Palermo) Fretz. Her great-grandchildren include Cody, Anthony, Aidan, Chase, and Emmett, and a great-great grandchild, Lincoln.

In addition to her parents and husband, Roselyn was preceded in death by her siblings: Dominic Martin, Dorothy (Martin) Leavy, Evelyn (Martin) McCoach, and Betty (Martin) Salaski.

You are invited to visit with Roselyn’s family and friends from 9:45 A.M. - 10:45 A.M., Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 N. Main St., Sellersville, PA 18960. Her Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:45 A.M.

Interment will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem, PA.
