James C. Robison. 65, of Sellersville, passed on at his home. Wednesday, April 17.
Born in South Perkasie, he was a son of the late James William Robison and Ethel May (Haenn) Robison Thomson and stepson of the late Sidney Thomson.
He co-owned and operated the former Robison Brothers Chevron Service Station in Perkasie, along with his brother Gerald for eight years. He later was employed for 25 years with the U.S. Gauge Division of Ametek, Inc., Sellersville until his retirement.
Jim was an avid traveler and enjoyed many trips throughout our country with his family. His main interests were scenic and historical sites, which included visits to every major battlefield of the Civil War. He was also very interested in Native Americans and had visited many sites pertaining to their history and culture.
Throughout his life, Jim's active interests included soap-box racing, motorcycles, and auto racing. He was also an active member of the Blue Mountain Muzzle Loading Rifle Association in Shartlesville.
Jim was an active member of First Church of Christ, Scientist in Lansdale where he served in many capacities during his 25 year membership.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Marilyn (Hart) Robison; his daughter, Selena, and his grandson, Christopher, with all of whom he resided in Sellersville. He is also survived by three brothers, Gerald Robison and his wife. Vicki, of Dublin; Dennis Robison and his wife, Barbara, of Perkasie; and Ronald Thomson and his wife, Susan, of Oneonta, New York.
Jim also had a son, Ronald, who passed on in 1989.
Services will be private.
