Ruth V. Roberts, 80, of Franconia Township, formerly a longtime resident of the Ridge Road, Sellersville, passed away Saturday, January 28, in LifeQuest Nursing Center, Milford Township. She was the wife of Harold W. Roberts, who died in 1956.
Born in Sellersville, she was the daughter of Paul and Mabel (Hartzell) Moore.
Along with her late husband, she owned and operated the former Meyers Texaco Service Station, Sellersville. She had been employed as a real estate agent with the former Gross & Quade Realtors, Perkasie, and was the office manager for the former Schoenemann's Sun Lite Shops, Souderton, and the former Lon-tex Factory, Perkasie.
Ruth's beloved family was the joy of her life.
She is survived by her two daughters: Diane R. Landis and her husband, Ronald R., Franconia Township; and Doreen K. Sanborn and her husband, Stephen B., Fairfax, VA; three grandchildren: Gregory Landis and his wife, Debra, Hatfield; Stacey Reger and her husband, John, Perkasie, and Darren Landis and his wife, Stacy, Green Lane; and six great-grandchildren: Nicole, Seth, Ryan, Korey, Whitney and Max.
Her Funeral Service will be held Friday afternoon, February 3 at 1:00 PM, in the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville. Family and friends may call Friday afternoon, from 12:30 PM until time of service.
Interment will be held in Jerusalem Union Cemetery, Almont.
