Robert Renz, 76, of Pottstown, formerly of Hilltown Township, passed away Saturday, January 27, in Pottstown Memorial Medical Center, Pottstown.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Robert and Florence (Noll) Renz. He had lived in Hilltown Township for over 20 years. For the last 21 years, he had resided in a group home operated by Step By Step, Inc., Pottstown.
He had attended Senior Activities at Helping Hands, Inc., Bechtelsville.
Bobby loved sports. A sweet and gentle man with a great sense of humor, he was very caring and considerate of others. He touched the lives of everyone he met, and he will be missed and loved by all.
He is survived by one nephew, Layne Bartl, Schwenksville; two nieces, Lynn Weachter, and her husband, Terry, West Rockhill Township, and Lysa Schmitt, and her husband, Dan, Harleysville; and several grand-nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Doris Blanche Bartl.
Services will be private. Interment in Sellersville Cemetery, Sellersville.
