Harvey Renner, 82, a life-long resident of East Rockhill Township, passed away Monday, February 26, at his residence.
Born in Perkasie, he was a son of the late Abraham and Katie Renner.
He was a US Army veteran, having served in World War II.
He had been employed for many years as a press operator with the former Hi-Line, Perkasie, before retiring in 1983.
Harvey was a life member of: the Nase-Kraft American Legion Post 255, Sellersville, Veterans of Foreign Wars Forrest Lodge 245, Sellersville and the North Penn Gun Club.
He enjoyed woodworking.
He is survived by a son, Harry E. Renner; a sister, Sadie Greaser, Telford and his longtime companion, Alice Petchner, East Rockhill Township.
He was preceded in death by a son, Harvey Renner, Jr., and a brother, Norman Renner.
His Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 2 at 11:00 AM in the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville. Family and friends may call Friday morning at the funeral home, from 10:00 AM until time of service.
Interment will be in St. Luke’s Union Cemetery, Dublin.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Sellersville Fire Department, PO Box 315, Sellersville, PA 18960.
