Gayle Anne Radvon

Gayle Anne Radvon, 44, of Sellersville, formerly of Perkasie and Dublin, passed away after a long illness on Saturday morning, October 30 in Grand View Hospital, West Rockhill Township.

Born in West Rockhill Township, she was the beloved daughter of Nicholas and Joan (Surotchak) Radvon, Perkasie.

A 1978 graduate of Pennridge High School, Gayle graduated from Bloomsburg University and received her MBA from Temple University.

She was employed for over 15 years with Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceutical, Inc., Raritan, New Jersey, where she worked in areas of financial analysis and new business development. She received the Johnson & Johnson Achievement I Standard of Leadership Award six times; the Ortho-McNeil Leader in Financial Excellence award in 2000 and was nominated by her peers for the Robert E. Johnson Award for Financial Excellence. She had previously worked for many years with the former Bucks County Bank, Perkasie.

Gayle was a life-member of St. Andrew's Ev. Lutheran Church, Perkasie, where she had directed the Junior Choir, sang in the Senior Choir, taught Sunday School, served on Church Council, chaired the Worship and Music Committee, served on the Finance Committee and was editor of the church newsletter. She frequently sang solos and duets during worship services.

She was the Treasurer of the Choral Arts Society of Philadelphia Board of Trustees for the last three years and a long-time Choral Arts supporter and volunteer. This past April, Gayle was the recipient of the 2004 Choral Arts Society Individual Leadership in Choral Music Award during a concert dedicated in her honor.

Gayle was a talented musician having played the piano, trumpet and viola. She was a dedicated choir director who loved sharing her passion for music with children. Her loving friendship and good deeds touched many and she will be dearly missed.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by a brother, Gregory John Radvon and his wife, Andrea, of Perkasie and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Her Funeral Service will be held Wednesday evening, November 3 at 7:30 PM in St. Andrew's Ev. Lutheran Church, Dill Avenue and Chestnut Street, Perkasie. Family and friends may call at the church on Wednesday evening, from 6:00 PM until time of service.

Interment will be private.
