Peter Davin Ference, of Lansdale, passed away on Friday, May 16, 2025. He was 71.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Francis Ference and Elizabeth (Davin) Pleasants. Peter was a graduate of Delaware Valley College, Doylestown.
Mr. Ference was employed for many years by the Bucks County Emergency Management Services, retiring as director of the 911 Dispatch Center for Bucks County.
A nature lover, Peter especially enjoyed hunting and astronomy. He was also a gifted photographer and enjoyed using his ham radio. Peter always talked about his best dog “Kate,” even well after her passing.
Peter is survived by his two daughters: Laura Ference (James A. Golinsky) and Heather Kraekel (Ronald L.); two grandchildren: Jonah and Eden; and many other loving family and friends.
All are invited on Friday, May 30, to Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown, PA 18951 for a visitation from 10 -11 a.m. His memorial service will follow immediately at 11 a.m.
Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Philadelphia will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mr. Ference’s name to the Bucks County SPCA, P.O. Box 277, Lahaska, PA 18931, where he got “Kate.”
