David H. Overholt

David H. Overholt, of Telford, formerly of Souderton, passed away suddenly at his residence on Monday, August 26, 2013. He was 60.
Born in Reading (Berks County), he was the son of the late Jacob K. and Muriel D. (Camburn) Overholt.
Mr. Overholt had owned and operated his own car repair shop. During the Christmas season, he had also sold trees for several years.
David loved hunting, fishing, and camping. He also drove his speed car in area competitions. David enjoyed spending time with his family, especially at Christmas.
He will be greatly missed.
Mr. Overholt is survived by a son, David Overholt, of Florida; two brothers: Michael Overholt and his wife, Linda, of Perkasie; Alvin Hassler; a sister, Debbra Lynn Schwartz and her husband, Warren Russell, of Bechtelsville; and his life partner, Donna (Garland) Reedinger, of Telford.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Shannon Overholt, and a sister, Gloria Wade.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in David’s name may be made to the Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960 to help defray expenses.
