H. Michael Nase

H. Michael Nase, 57, of Perkasie, formerly of Sellersville, passed away November 24 in Pottstown Medical Center, Montgomery County. He was the husband of Carol J. (Vollmerhausen) Nase for 33 years.
Born in West Rockhill Township, he was a son of Ellenjane (Cressman) Nase, of Telford, and the late Herbert S. Nase.
A 1968 graduate of Lehigh University, he had been employed as a truck driver for BFI, Telford for four years. Previously, he had worked for TRL Trucking, Pittston, Luzerne County. Prior to that, he had been employed for 25 years in the banking industry for Morrisville Bank, Pennview Bank, CoreStates Bank, and First Union Bank.
He was a life member of St. Michael's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Sellersville, where he had served as treasurer, usher, and lector, and had played in the bell choir.
He was a member of the Upper Bucks Ski Club and the Aircraft Owners and Pilot's Association, Frederick, Md.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother; sons, Andrew M., of Sellersville, Jeremy D., of Perkasie; a sister, Patricia A. Wenger, of Perkasie;and a brother, Philip E., of Quakertown.
His funeral service will be held at 11 a.m.on Saturday, November 29, in St. Michael's Lutheran Church, 25 East Church Street, Sellersville, PA 18960, where a calling hour will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service. Interment will be in Sellersville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church at the address above.
