Michael Conrad Florian, of Sellersville, PA, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026, in Grand View Hospital, Sellersville, after a short cancer- related illness. He was 74.He was the husband of Anne Yacovino-Florian, with whom he had shared 30 years of marriage. Born in Chicago, IL, he was a son of Florence (Neimy) Florian, of Doylestown, PA, and the late Michael Florian.
Michael graduated from high school in 1969. He then worked for many years before earning a BA in Business and Finance from DeSales University, where he attended night classes. He was proud of his service to our country in the Army National Guard for over six years.
For over 22 years, Michael had been employed in automotive sales at A & T Chevrolet in Sellersville. In recent years, Michael had also worked as a driver for Bucks County Transportation, working until December 17 of last year.
A longtime member of Our Mother of Consolation Church in Chestnut Hill, Michael had served there as a Eucharistic Minister.
Michael loved all dogs, but, especially, his three dogs, “Maggie,” “Stella,” and “Ivy.” A great cook, Michael was especially proud of his seafood chowder. He also enjoyed exchanging recipes with many friends he had on the Internet.
In 2015, Michael experienced a slip and fall, which caused a traumatic brain injury. He was lucky enough to receive experimental therapy at St. Luke's in Bethlehem, PA, where he eventually enjoyed a near full recovery. His positive results were documented in many medical journals.
Through it all, Michael gave of himself to everyone. He would give the shirt off his own back if needed to anyone he knew and loved. His legacy of love and concern for others will not be soon forgotten.
In addition to his wife and mother, Michael is survived by two sisters-in-law, as well as two nieces and one nephew. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
You are invited to visit with Michael’s family and friends from 10:00 -11:00 A.M on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Our Mother of Consolation Church, 9 East Chestnut Hill Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19118. His Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in St. John Neumann Cemetery, 3797 County Line Road, Chalfont, PA 18914.
