Lewis A. Jewell, of Sellersville, PA, passed away peacefully at his residence on Sunday, April 12, 2026, surrounded by family and love. He was 71.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda, with whom he had shared 25 loving years of marriage.
Lewis had spent many years working alongside his mother at A & N Diner in Sellersville, where he was known for his dedication and hard work
With a strong love for life’s simple pleasures, he had enjoyed doing puzzles, playing bingo, bowling, and playing the lottery. An avid fan of game shows, he had also enjoyed cooking and baking. He also proudly supported his favorite sports teams, the New York Giants and the Philadelphia Phillies.
Lewis will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Jewell is survived by his two children: Jessica M. Mignogna (Steven) and Philip Steich; his sister, Anita Hurley (Brian); and his brother, Charles Jewell (Margie), along with many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dolores Jewell in 2014 and Charles M. Jewell in 1995, as well as his mother-in-law, Rae Zurcher in 2019.
All are invited to his graveside service on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 10 a.m. in Sellersville Cemetery, 25 East Church Street, Sellersville, PA 18960.
A luncheon will be held following the service. The family kindly asks that attendees reach out in advance so arrangements can be made for food and planning.
