Norman L. Krusen "Poppy", 68, of Souderton, formerly of Huntingdon Valley, passed away, Monday, November 22 in Grand View Hospital, West Rockhill Township. He was the beloved husband of Janette (Creager) Krusen. They were married 47 years.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Robert and Elsa (Stanislaw) Krusen.
He had been employed for 15 years as an electrical engineer with V-Tel of King of Prussia before retiring in 1998. He then became responsible for the model train displays of the former Estate of George S. Snyder, Hatfield where he was known by all of the children as the "Train Man".
He was an active collector of model railroads and was a member of the South Eastern Pennsylvania Garden Railway Society.
He was a member of Grace Bible Church, Souderton where he was in charge of sound and video.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter: Donna L. Dunlap-Kida, Glenside; three grandchildren: Jessica Dunlap, Joseph Dunlap and Amanda Kida, all of Glenside.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday evening, November 26 at 7:00 PM in Grace Bible Church, 423 Main Street, Souderton, PA 18964. Friends and family may call at the church on Friday evening, from 6:00 PM until time of service.
