Ralph Krell, 84, of Quakertown, died March 12 in Grand View Hospital, West Rockhill Township. He was married to Adele (O'Brien) Krell for 42 years.
He was a graduate of the former Rising Sun School of Aeronautics, Philadelphia. A licensed aircraft and aircraft engine mechanic, he worked for the Pratt and Whitney Aircraft Group of United Technologies, East Hartford, Conn. for 10 years before retiring in 1981, and previously for the former Capital Airlines, Washington, D.C., and American Airlines. He previously worked for General Dynamics, Groton, Conn., and for US Gauge Division, Sellersville.
Born in Perkasie, he was a son of the late John and Elizabeth (Stroum) Krell.
He was an Army Air Force veteran of World War II, serving as an airplane mechanic, and a former member of Veterans of Foreign War, Forrest Lodge, Sellersville.
He is survived by his wife, Adele; daughters, Jean Repoza of North Scituate, R.I, Marie Vann of Bronx, N.Y.; three grandchildren, a great-grandson.
