Elaine L. (Luehrs) Knauff

Elaine L. Knauff, 82, of San Antonio, formerly of Souderton and Gilbertsville, passed away Wednesday, September 18 in Retama South Nursing Home, Pleasanton, Texas. She was the wife of Earl H. Knauff. They were married 61 years last April.
Born in Sellersville, she was the daughter of the late Augustus and Katie (Nase) Luehrs. She and her husband had lived most of their married life in Souderton and Gilbertsville before moving to Ocala, Florida about 12 years ago. They have lived in San Antonio the last few years.
Mrs. Knauff was a homemaker most of her life. She had been a former longtime member of St. Michael's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Sellersville. She enjoyed gardening and playing cards.
She is survived by three sons, Jim Knauff and his wife, Susan, Lansdale; Jeffrey Knauff and his wife, Carol, Mendham, New Jersey; Joel Knauff and his wife, Carla Anne, San Antonio, Texas; one daughter, Kay DePaolo and her husband, Rich, Sarasota, Florida; and seven grandchildren.
Her Funeral Service will be held Tuesday morning, September 24 at 11:00 AM in St. Michael's Ev. Lutheran Church, 25 East Church Street, Sellersville. Family and friends may call at the church on Tuesday morning from 10:00 AM until 10:50 AM.
Interment will be in Sellersville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: St. Michael's Ev. Lutheran Church, 25 East Church Street, Sellersville, PA 18960.
