Sadie “Connie” Keller, 78, a 50 year resident of Sellersville, passed away Thursday morning, January 25, in Quakertown Center – Genesis Healthcare Facility, Quakertown. She was the wife of William E. Keller. They were married 53 years.
Born in Perkasie, she was a daughter of the late John and Eva (Gibala) Delikat.
She had been employed as a seamstress with the former Royal Pants Factory and Wispese Girdle Factory, both of Perkasie.
A Lutheran by faith, she enjoyed reading prayers, gardening, cooking, and playing games and puzzles with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three children: William E. Keller III, Norristown; Connie Devenny, and her husband, James, Sellersville; and Gerald F. Keller, Norristown; three grandchildren: Brian Devenny, Jen Devenny, both of Sellersville; and Stephanie Keller, Honeybrook, PA; two sisters: Josephine Delikat, Norristown and Genevieve Lenar, Quakertown.
She was preceded in death by two sisters: Mary and Helen, and seven brothers: Joe, Michael, Tony, Henry, Edward, Frank and John.
Her Funeral Service will be held Monday, January 29 at 11:00 AM in the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville. Family and friends may call Monday morning from 10:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.
Interment will be held in Sellersville Cemetery, Sellersville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grand View Hospice, 700 Lawn Avenue, Sellersville, PA 18960.
