Evelyn Souder Johnson

Evelyn Souder Johnson, 83, of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, formerly of Sellersville, passed away Thursday, November 29 in the Franke Home at Seaside in Mt. Pleasant, SC. She was the wife of the late Clarence Y. Johnson who died in 1982.
Born in Sellersville, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Ada (Bailey) Souder. She had lived in Sellersville until moving to South Carolina in 1984.
Mrs. Johnson had been employed for many years in the Quality Control Department of the former American Olean Tile, Lansdale, retiring in 1981.
She is survived by: one (1) son: C. Barry and his wife, Delores (Detweiler) Johnson, Mt. Pleasant, SC; three (3) brothers: Harry Souder, Ocala, Florida; Harold Souder, Great Meadows, New Jersey and Robert Souder, Perkasie; two (2) granddaughters, Sherry and Leslie; and three (3) great-grandchildren: Chris, Erik and Skylar.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Clarence Souder.
Family and friends are invited to her funeral service on Monday, December 3 at 11:00 AM in St. Michael's Ev. Lutheran Church, 25 East Church Street, Sellersville, PA. A calling hour will precede the service beginning at 10:00 AM in the church.
Interment in Sellersville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society, Hi-Point Professional Building, 700 Horizon Circle, Suite 201, Chalfont, PA 18914.
