Jill Mayhew

Jill Mayhew, of Perkasie, passed away on Friday, May 23, 2025, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem after a brief illness, with her loving husband by her side. She was 57.

Born in Trenton, New Jersey, Jill was the daughter of the late Jack and Judy Hutchinson.

She moved with her family to Ivyland and graduated from Council Rock High School in 1986. It was there that she met Scott Mayhew, her future husband.

A 1990 graduate of Bloomsburg University with a degree in early childhood education, Jill loved working with children.

Scott and Jill were married on September 25, 1993, and moved to Perkasie in 1998.

After being a devoted stay-at-home mom, Jill went back to work and, until recently, taught at Grand View Health Children’s Center.

In addition to her husband, Jill is survived by their three children: Emily, Andrew, and Ryan, of Perkasie. Also surviving are her brother, Dave Hutchinson, (Denise), of Warminster; her two nieces: Amanda Deery (Joe) and Anna Hutchinson; and her brother, Ken Hutchinson, of Cape May, NJ.

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled by the family at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in Jill’s memory to be made to a charity of one’s choice.
