Lawrence E. Jackson III, 29, of Sellersville, formerly of Allentown, passed away suddenly Thursday morning, August 18, in Grand View Hospital, West Rockhill Township.
Born in Allentown, he was the son of Patricia Donohue, Sellersville and the late Lawrence E. Jackson, Jr.
He was a 1995 graduate of Southern Lehigh High School and had been employed for several years in retail sales with Radio Shack, Bethlehem. He later worked for Grand View Depot, Sellersville.
During his youth, Larry had been an active Cub Scout and Indian Y Guide in Allentown. He had played Little League baseball, soccer and was also an excellent wrestler. Larry had a natural talent for music and learned to play the trumpet by ear.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister, Rachel Wehr and her husband, Donald, Allentown; his maternal grandmother, Geraldine Donohue, Sellersville; a nephew, Hunter Wehr, Allentown, and extended family and friends.
His memorial service will be held Sunday afternoon, August 28 at 2:00 PM in the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville.
Interment will be private.
