Mildred O. Huey, 87, of Sellersville, passed away Monday morning, February 17, in Doylestown Hospital. She was the wife of the late Robert E. Huey, who died in October 1982.
Born in Denton, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Cline and Elva (Blough) Kissel. She had lived in Sellersville since 1945.
Mrs. Huey had been employed for many years as a serger with the former Lutz Clothing Factory, Sellersville.
She was a longtime member of Jerusalem Almont Lutheran Church, Sellersville. She was also a member of the Auxiliary of VFW Post 32, Lansdale and the Golden Agers of Lansdale.
Mrs. Huey is survived by three sons: C. Robert Huey and his wife, Rosemarie, of Quakertown; George M. Huey and his wife, Ellen, of Galena, Missouri, and William W. Huey and his wife, Bonnie, of South Daytona, Florida; two sisters: Betty Lucas, of Perkasie, and Martha R. Snyder and her husband, George, of Doylestown; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Mervin Kissel and Kenard Kissel, and a sister, Blanche Vamman.
Her Funeral Service will be held Monday morning, February 24 at 11:00 AM in the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday morning, February 24 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
Interment will be in Jerusalem Union Cemetery, (Almont), Sellersville.
