He was the beloved husband of Perma L. Hibbs for 71 years, until her death in 2019.

Born in West Rockhill Township and raised in Pennsburg, he was the son of the late Theodore and Ella (Seachrist) Hibbs.

Mr. Hibbs was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served during World War II aboard the U.S.S. Beverly as a Seaman 1st Class.

Clarence had been employed for many years as a site engineer for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, retiring in 1987.

He was a life member of the Sellersville Fire Department, where he had served as Treasurer. Always a proud Dutchman, Clarence was also a member of the local Grundsau Lodge.

Clarence loved keeping busy and tinkering on various projects around the house. He also enjoyed going out to eat at local establishments with family and friends.

Renowned as a prankster and practical joker, he was always ready to share a joke or a funny story. Loved by all, Clarence, with his warm, joyous smile and infectious laugh, will be deeply missed.
