Harry William McCabe

Harry William McCabe, age 87, of Chalfont, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2026, at St. Luke’s Hospice House of the VNA in Bethlehem, PA.

He was the loving husband of Vivian Davis McCabe, with whom he shared 65 years of marriage. Born in Portage, PA, he was the son of the late Charles McCabe and the late Fay Bowser McCabe.

Harry was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, having honorably served his country during 1959-1963.

He was a longtime member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Sellersville, where he was a faithful member of the parish community.

Harry worked as a machinist for PS Group for many years before retiring in 2012. He took great pride in his work and the skills he developed throughout his career.

A man who enjoyed the outdoors and making memories with those he loved, Harry had a passion for fishing, hunting, camping, and traveling. He especially cherished spending time with his family. His greatest joy came from being surrounded by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and he treasured the time he was able to share with them.

In addition to his wife, Vivian, Harry is survived by his three sons, Bill McCabe and his wife, Hope, of Perkasie, PA; Michael McCabe and his wife, Donna, of Souderton, PA; and Keith McCabe of Lehighton, PA; his sister, Sandy Puttaigo, of Roseland ; six grandchildren, Alisha, Cody, Amber, Hunter, Lacie, and Blade; and five great-grandchildren, Ava, Kye, Ben, Bert, and Bryar.

Family and friends are invited to visit with Harry’s family from 10:00 to 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 N. Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960. His Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM.

Interment, with full military honors, will take place at Washington Crossing Cemetery, Washington Crossing, PA.
