Harry William McCabe

Harry William McCabe, 87, of Chalfont, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 18, 2026, at St. Luke’s Hospice House of the VNA, in Bethlehem, PA.

He was the loving husband of Vivian (Davis) McCabe, with whom he had shared 65 years of marriage.

Born in Portage, PA, he was the son of the late Charles and Fay (Bowser) McCabe.

Mr. McCabe was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, having honorably served his country from 1959-1963.

He was a longtime member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Sellersville, where he was a faithful supporter of the parish community.

Harry had worked as a machinist for PS Group for many years before retiring in 2012. He took great pride in his work and the skills he developed throughout his career.

A man who enjoyed the outdoors and making memories with those he loved, Harry had a passion for fishing, hunting, camping, and traveling. He cherished time spent with his family. He especially treasured the time he was able to share with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Harry is survived by his three sons: Bill McCabe and his wife Hope, of Perkasie; Michael McCabe and his wife Donna, of Souderton; and Keith McCabe, of Lehighton; his sister, Sandy Puttaigo, of Roseland; six grandchildren: Alisha, Cody, Amber, Hunter, Lacie, and Blade; and five great-grandchildren: Ava, Kye, Ben, Bert, and Bryar.

Family and friends are invited to visit with Harry’s family from 10 to 11 AM on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 N. Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960. His Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM.

Interment, with full military honors, will take place at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Washington Crossing, PA.
