Joseph A. Gross, of Silverdale, formerly of Atlantic City and Philadelphia, passed away at his residence on September 11 after a long illness.
He was the beloved husband of Frances (Van Dyke) Gross for 36 years; loving father of Frances Gross O'Keefe and her husband, John, of Frackville, PA; Joseph G. and his wife, Victoria, of Kempner, TX; John J., of Philadelphia; Lisa Mary Gross, of Nederland, CO; devoted grandfather of Rachel, Joseph, Steven, Margaret Mary, John, Matthew and Abraham; brother of Barbara Dziegrenuk, of Margate; Hugh E..and his wife Sylvia, of Bowie, MD; John and his wife, Anthula, of Chevy Chase, MD and the late James E. Gross.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday morning, September16 at 10:00 AM in St. Agnes Catholic Church,445 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA.
Family and friends may call Monday evening, September 15 from 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM at the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville.
Interment will be in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Warrington Township.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Moss Rehab Aphasia Centers, 1200 W. Tabor Road, Philadelphia, PA 19141 or to Camp Independence, c/o the same address or to a charity of one's' choice.
