Theodore T."Ted" Gebhard, Jr.

September 26, 1940 — December 12, 2004

Theodore T. "Ted" Gebhard, Jr., 64, of Perkasie, formerly of Dublin, passed away in his home on Saturday morning, December 11. He was the beloved husband of Jacquelyn (Ketterer) Gebhard. They were married 37 years.

Born in New Hanover Township, PA, he was the son of the late Theodore T., Sr. and Elva (Buzzard) Gebhard.

He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in the Vietnam War.

Ted was a member of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, Perkasie.

He was employed for 25 years with Suburban Propane, Montgomeryville. He later worked for Perkasie Vulcanizing, West Rockhill Township before retiring in 2001 due to illness.

Ted loved to play solitaire and listen to country music. He also enjoyed watching wrestling and the Phillies. Ted especially loved to go out to breakfast with his friends and family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters: Melissa Maxwell and her husband, Thomas, Quakertown; Katrina L. Gebhard, Perkasie; two sons: Jeffrey T. Gebhard and his companion, Gloria Wade, Perkasie; and Joshua M. Gebhard and his fiancée, Valerie Hagen, Sellersville.

Ted was a devoted Poppy to his four grandchildren: Sean, Anastasia, Patrick, and Madeline. He is also survived by three sisters: Shirley Yocom and her husband, Sterling, Murrells Inlet, South Carolina; Betty Fitzcharles, South Carolina; Patty Ledford and her husband, Charles, Sr., Pottstown; one brother, Charles Gebhard, Erie; and his two beloved cats, "Squeakers" and "Mara."

He was preceded in death by a brother Roy, who was killed in Vietnam.

His Funeral Service will be held Tuesday morning, December 14 at 11:00 AM in.St. Andrew's Ev. Lutheran Church, Dill Avenue and Chestnut Street, Perkasie. Family and friends may call at the church on Tuesday morning from 9:30 AM until time of service.

Interment will be in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Prospectville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Ted's family to offset medical expenses: The Gebhard Family, 30 C Fairview Avenue, Perkasie, PA 18944.
