Betty O. (Frey) Fluck

December 5, 1921 — December 2, 2000

Betty O. Fluck, 78, of Perkasie, passed away Saturday, December 2, at home. She was the wife of Ralph L. Fluck. They celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary last June.

Born in Lansdale, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Gladys (Bartlett) Frey.

Mrs. Fluck had been employed as an assembler for over 20 years with the former EMICO, Perkasie before retiring in 1972. She previously had been employed for several years with the former Royal Pants Factory, Perkasie.

She had been a member of St. Andrew's Ev. Lutheran Church, Perkasie for over 60 years, where she had taught Bible School and been a member of the Women of the Church (WELCA).

Betty and her husband had been volunteers with the Pennridge FISH organization for over 15 years.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons: R. Barry Fluck and his wife, Donna, Crystal Lake, Illinois and N. James and his wife, JoAnn, Philadelphia; one daughter, Betty L. Kmetz, Harleysville; five grandchildren: Patrick, Michael, Amy, and Matthew; one sister, Dorothea, wife of Wilmer Yerk, Sellersville.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Wednesday, December 6, at 11:00 AM in St. Andrew's Ev. Lutheran Church, Dill Avenue and Chestnut Street, Perkasie. Friends may call Wednesday morning at the church from 9:30 AM until time of service.

Interment will be in St. Andrew's Union Cemetery, Perkasie.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grand View Hospice, 700 Lawn Avenue, Sellersville, PA 18960.
