Louis L. Fabian, Sr.
September 10, 1914 — August 26, 2002
Louis L. Fabian, Sr., 87, a life-long resident of West Rockhill Township, died Monday, August 26, 2002, in Bright Field Personal Care Facility, Lansdale. He was the husband of the late Helen (Stastny) Fabian and the late Irene (Januska) Fabian. Mr. Fabian died two weeks prior to his 88th birthday.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Carl and Carolyn (Bauerle) Fabian.
Mr. Fabian had been employed for 40 years as a machinist with U.S. Gauge Division, AMETEK, Inc., Sellersville, before retiring in 1979.
He was a member of Jerusalem Almont Lutheran Church, Sellersville.
He was also a member of the Grand Lodge of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers for over 50 years.
He is survived by two sons: Louis L. Fabian, Jr. and his wife, Alyce; and Mark A. Fabian; six grandchildren: Terri A. Fabian Boyd and her husband, Jack; Lawrence C. Fabian and his wife, Joanne; Randall S. Fabian and his wife, Colleen; Cassandra L. Claycomb and her husband, Craig; Louis L. "Clicker" Fabian, III and Mark Fabian, Jr.; five great-grandchildren; two sisters: Elsie Moore and her husband, Irvin, of Sellersville and Anna Miller, Green Lane.
Mr. Fabian was preceded in death by a grandson, Richard A. Fabian, and a granddaughter, Cindy Lou Fabian, and one sister, Romaine E. Daniels.
His Funeral Service will be held Friday morning, August 30 at 11:00 AM in the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday evening, August 29 from 7:00 PM until 8:30 PM and on Friday morning from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
Interment will be in Jerusalem Union Cemetery, (Almont), Sellersville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Jerusalem Lutheran Church, 733 Ridge Road, Sellersville, PA 18960.
