Mary Ellen (Harman) Dusza
February 25, 1932 — February 27, 2007
Mary Ellen Dusza, 75, of East Rockhill Township, passed away Tuesday, February 27, at her residence. She was the beloved wife of Edward A. Dusza, Sr. for 56 years.
Born in Queens, New York, she was a daughter of the late George Frederick and Claire Marie (Vetter) Harman. She was a graduate of Notre Dame High School, Wyncote.
A homemaker most of her life, she had been employed as a seamstress for Anne Bailey, Fountainville, and previously had operated her own hair salon.
Mary Ellen was a longtime member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Sellersville, where she was active with the women’s club and the annual Christmas Bazaar. She also had been a volunteer pink lady with Grand View Hospital.
She loved sewing, arts and crafts, reading and polkas with her husband.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three sons: Edward A. Dusza, Jr. and his wife, Terri, Perkasie; Steve M. Dusza and his wife, Darlene F.; and Daniel R. Dusza and his wife, Darlene M., all of Sellersville; three grandchildren: Edward A. Dusza, III, Jeremy Dusza and Jennifer Geib; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters: Ruth Hacker, Quakertown, and Florence Byers and her husband, Raymond, Perkasie.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Michelle Dena Dusza, who died in 2001; a brother, Robert Harman, and a sister, Jean Frederick.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, March 5, at 10: 00 AM in St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 North Main Street, Sellersville. Family and friends may call Monday morning at the church from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM.
Interment will be in the adjoining parish cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960.
