Victoria M. Domino, 85, of Mays Landing, NJ, formerly of Perkasie, passed away Friday, June 23, in the Atlantic City Medical Center, after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of Joseph F. Domino. They would have celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary in August.
Born in Manyunk, Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Victor and Helen (Orbanes) Godlewski. She had lived in Perkasie most of her life before moving to New Jersey in 1998.
Vicky was an excellent seamstress and had been employed with the former Royal Pants Factory, Perkasie. She later worked for the former Arthur Lewis Company, Perkasie. In 1970 she established her own clothing manufacturing business, SYGNERCON, in South Perkasie in the former Moyer's store building. She sold the business in 1982 and worked for the former AG Pants Factory until her retirement.
She had been a long-time member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Sellersville.
Vicky was an avid gardener, growing lavish plants both inside and outdoors. She enjoyed preparing parties and celebrating Christmas Eve with her family. Her culinary skills were much admired. Vicky also enjoyed needlework and crocheting.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Joseph F. Domino, Jr., and his wife Carol, St. Augustine, FL; a daughter, Cynthia Domino, Egg Harbor, NJ; two sisters: Eleanor Marsteller and Lenore Souder, and her husband, James, all of Perkasie; one granddaughter, Denise Green, Hatfield; and many nieces and nephews.
Two brothers, Lawrence Godlewski and Victor J. Godlewski, preceded her in death three years ago.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 29, at 11:00 AM in St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 North Main Street, Sellersville. Friends and family may call Thursday morning from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM in the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Roofing Fund of St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960.
