Craige A. Diaz

Craige A. Diaz, 48, of Stroudsburg, passed away suddenly in Bloomsburg Hospital after a work- related accident on Wednesday, May 14. He was the husband of Pattie (Kocher) Diaz. They were married on October 5, 2002.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of Ronald B. Diaz, Allentown, and the late Shirley E. (Gogle) Diaz.

Craige had been employed for most of his life as a mechanical and electrical technician. He was currently employed for over eight years with Emergency Systems Inc, Quakertown.

He was a Protestant.

Craige enjoyed collecting and working on classic cars. He was an avid NASCAR fan and also enjoyed John Wayne movies. Most of all, Craige was a devoted husband, father and brother, who was always there to offer help.

In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by one son: Craige R. Diaz, of Effort, PA; four step-children: Julianna Tobing, of Manayunk, (Philadelphia) PA; Aimee Swint, Mia Tobing and Alexander Tobing, all of Easton; two sisters: Robin L. Lutcher and her husband, the Rev. David C., of Perkasie; and Shawne D. Diaz, of Manchester, New Hampshire; his mother-in-law: Josephine Kocher, of Easton, and one step-grandson,Tyson Sandt, Jr., of Easton.

Family and friends are invited to attend his memorial service on Monday, May 19, at 11 :00 AM in the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville. There are no calling hours.

Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
