William F. Croll, 89, of Sellersville, formerly of Tylersport and Souderton, passed away Monday evening, September 18, in the Rockhill Mennonite Community, West Rockhill Township. He was the beloved husband of the late Margaret E. (Frick) Croll, who died in 2003.
Born in Lansdale, he was the son of the late Frank and Alma Gertrude (Shay) Croll.
Mr. Croll had been employed for many years as a truck driver and mechanic for Kellers Creamery, Harleysville. He later worked for the former Contractors Equipment Company, Telford and the former Williams Brothers, Hatfield, before retiring in 1992.
He was a Protestant.
He enjoyed fishing and being on his boat in Barnegat Bay, NJ.
Mr. Croll is survived by one daughter, Betty Croll, of Sellersville; five sons: Charles F. Croll and his wife, Patricia, of Red Hill; John W. Croll and his wife, Nancy, of Perkasie; James N. Croll and his wife, Kathie, of Perkasie; Stanley R. Croll and his wife, Sharon, of Telford; and Robert H. Croll and his wife, Dona, of Cochranton, PA; a sister, Helen Class, of Sellersville; two brothers: John Croll, of Tylersport; Nelson Croll ,of Lansdale; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Friday morning, September 22, at 11:00 AM in the Wayside Chapel of Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Prospectville. There will be no calling hours.
Interment in Whitemarsh Memorial Park.
