Sophie Cieslelka, 83, of Sellersville, passed away in Greenleaf Nursing and Convalescent Center, Doylestown, Thursday morning, April 19.
Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Lucy Psonak. She had lived in Sellersville since 1950.
She had worked for several area hosiery mills and clothing factories. She had been employed for many years as a machine operator with the former DeLoux Sweater Factory, Sellersville before retiring in 1985.
She was a longtime member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Sellersville where she had belonged to the Silver and Gold Club and the Prayer Group.
She is survived by one son, Stanley Ciesielka, Sellersville and one daughter, Christine McClone, Babylon, New York; two sisters: Josephine Siek, Coopersburg; and Helen Swyer, Kenneth City, Florida; four grandchildren: Thomas A. McClone, Lake Osewgo, Oregon; Patrick S. McClone, New York City, NY; Kevin McClone, Queens, NY and Kristi Elwin, Kuai, Hawaii; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Laura Psonak
A Memorial Mass will be held in the future.
