Daniel R. Ciamaichela, Sr., 52, of Telford, formerly of Willow Grove, passed away Wednesday, August 31, in the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. He was the beloved husband of Lorraine (Pironti) Ciamaichela. They celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary on August I.
Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of Yolanda (Ferrino) Ciamaichela, Willow Grove, and the late Rocco S. Ciamaichela.
Dan had been employed as a sales representative for over 12 years with TransAxle, Bridgeport, where he was the highest salesman with over $ I million sales for eight years in a row.
He was a member of: St. Agnes Catholic Church, Sellersville.
Dan was a member of the Blue Comet Motorcycle Club, Skippack, and Branch Valley Fish and Game, Perkasie. He was also a member and past-president of the Friends of the Forgotten (FOF), Audubon.
Mr. Ciamaichela was an avid bowler and hunter. An altar boy in his youth, he also coached CYO football and baseball at St. John's Catholic Church, Roslyn.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two sons: Daniel R., Jr. and his wife, Dawn, Telford; Christopher A. and his wife, Melissa, Perkiomenville; one daughter: Lorraine C. Ciamaichela, Telford; two grandchildren: Daniel R., III and Taylor Marie, both of Telford; three sisters: Valerie Frederick, Alburtis; Janet Gill and her friend, Bill Strahle, Roslyn; Lisa Kugler and her husband, Brian, Ardsley; one brother: Carl Ciamaichela and his wife, Paula, Huntingdon Valley; and his mother-in-law, Angelina Gephardt and her husband, Kenneth, Bensalem.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Paul.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 6, at 10:00 AM in St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 North Main Street, Sellersville. Family and friends may call Monday evening, September 5, from 7:00 PM until 8:30 PM in the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville and on Tuesday morning, September 6, from 9:00 AM until 9:50 AM in St. Agnes Catholic Church.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 700 Horizon Circle, Suite 201, Chalfont, PA 18914.
