Catherine Therese Kauflie

Catherine Therese Kauflie, of Alburtis, PA, formerly a long-time resident in the Lansdale area, passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, in Lehigh Valley Hospital Hospice, Allentown, PA. She was 96.

Catherine had resided in Florida since the mid-1990s, until the loss of her partner, Don Crouse, in 2023. She was the wife of the late Robert Williams, with whom she had shared 20 years of marriage. Her first husband and the father of her three children, John Rohs, passed away in 2003.

Born in Hilltown, PA, where she was raised on a farm along with her six siblings, she was a daughter of the late William and Ida (Champagne) Reckner.

For over 30 years, Catherine had worked in sales for the former Dutchmaid Clothing Company in Ephrata, PA.

A longtime member of St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church, Lansdale, Cathy had sung in the choir for over 30 years.

Often referred to as Cass amongst family members or as Cathy with her friends, she was always ready to tell a joke or recount a funny story. An avid tennis player, she was also a member of The Red Hat Society.

Cass enjoyed taking trips to the casino and frequently won at the slot machines. While living in Florida, she was actively involved at the clubhouse, playing “Texas Hold'em,” Pinochle, and bocce ball.

She is survived by her two daughters: Nancy Fickert and her husband, Charles "Butch," of Alburtis, and Ida Jolley and her husband, Ronald, of Lexington Park, MD; two grandchildren: Kris Jolley and Lisa Wilds; and three great-grandchildren: Brianna "Mavi", Kasie, and Chase.

She was preceded in death by her son, John Rohs, in 2004; and her siblings: Annette Nichols, William Reckner, Evelyn Grabowski, Harry Reckner, Charlie Reckner, and Joseph Reckner.

You are invited to visit with Catherine's family and friends from 9:30 a.m. -10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church, 51 Lansdale Ave., Lansdale, PA 19446. Her Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont, PA.
