C. Bruce Walt

C. Bruce Walt, a lifelong Sellersville resident, passed away on Friday, August 22, 2025, in Montgomeryville Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Montgomeryville. He was 82.

Born in Sellersville, he was the son of the late Clarence B. and Hannah Margaret “Peg” (Knauff) Walt. Bruce attended Pennridge High School, Perkasie.

Mr. Walt had been employed for 60 years by the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, Sellersville.

He had also served as the organist for more than 50 years at the former Jerusalem Union Church, now, Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Almont (Sellersville).

Bruce was a lifelong member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Sellersville.

As an experienced, talented musician, particularly of the church organ, Bruce had enjoyed a years-long membership with the Lansdale Community Concert Subscription Series, attending productions of every musical genre. He had also enjoyed reading, playing cards, and dining out with family and friends.

A kindhearted, gentle man, Bruce’s life revolved around his music, his church, and his family and friends.

Mr. Walt is survived by eight cousins and their families.

His funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 12, 2025, in the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960, where a visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until time of service.

Interment will follow in Sellersville Cemetery.
