Robert M. Belott, 50, of Hatfield Township, formerly of Souderton, passed away Tuesday, May 29, at Hatfield Quality Meats Company, Hatfield Township, where he had worked for more than 12 years. He was the husband of Patricia L. (Swinney) Belott. They would have been married for 28 years on June 2.
Born in Jacksonville, Florida, he was the son of Rosemay Belott, of East Greenville, and the late Otis C. Belott.
He was a coach for North Penn Valley girls' and women's softball teams. He formerly played Santa Claus at the Richland Mall as well.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a daughter, Jaimie, and a son, Michael, both at home; a sister, MaryAnn, of North Wales; twin brothers, Joe and John, both of East Greenville; and nieces and nephews.
His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 6, in the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960. Friends and family may call at the funeral home from 7:00 -8:30 p.m., Tuesday night, June 5, and on Wednesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
Interment will be in St. Andrew's Union Cemetery, Perkasie.
