Howard N. Arnold, Jr., of Hilltown Township, formerly of New Britain, passed away Monday, July 19, in Temple University Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was the beloved husband of Joan E. (Rodenberger) Arnold for 39 years. He was 64.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Howard N., Sr. and Emma (Aemisegger) Arnold. A 1957 graduate of Pennridge High School, he had lived in Hilltown for over 26 years.
He was a US Air Force veteran.
Mr. Arnold had been employed as an office manager In the delivery department of the Reedman Corporation, Langhorne, for 37 years before retiring in 2001.
He enjoyed making and re-finishing furniture, along with watching sports.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sons: Leonard Ziegler and his wife, Kathy, of Sellersville; Phillip Ziegler, of Stockertown; David Ziegler and his wife, Heidi, of Pennsburg; and Michael Arnold, of Telford; one daughter, Michele McGovern and her husband, Vincent, of Quakertown; eleven grandchildren; and one brother, David L. Arnold and his wife, Winnie, of Stevens, Lancaster County, PA.
Services will be private.
